Activities Covered With Specific Groups

In the "What I Do" page various schools and groups were mentioned. Below is the detail of some of the activities Emma has created or supported.

Feather's School of Dance

  • Early Performers 3 - 5 year olds; All three disciplines - dance, drama and singing. The main objective is to build confidence for them to move on to the next classes.

  • Drama for 6 - 16 year olds; To learn different drama styles and techniques but mainly to build confidence in individuals and to inspire creativity in their own writing and performance.

  • Singing for 6 - 16 year olds; Teaching technique; a range of styles of singing; and exploring their own voice. Lots of fun to again, build confidence and inspire creativity and individuality.

  • With all classes, some terms spent working on styles, technique, confidence building, individual writing etc, and two terms a year working towards end of term shows.

Stage Coach UK - Norwich

  • Early Stages 4 - 7 year olds; Weekly classes in term time covering all three disciplines. This is a foundation stage into the Stagecoach Main School - building confidence for the next stage and learning the foundations of the arts before moving up.

Rackham C of E Primary School

  • Drama Club after school working towards the end of term festive performances.

  • Teaching the music syllabus in both years 3-4, and 5-6, during PPA time, using an innovative approach to the subject.

  • Dance sections of P.E/Games, and as extra curricular sessions also.

  • Confidence building sessions with specially selected children, using script writing, singing and drama.

  • Singing classes to incorporate music modules or as extra curriculum.

Swaffham Bulbeck Primary School and Icknield Primary School, Sawston

  • Working with the children towards their end of term shows, covering drama, singing and dance.

  • At both schools it was felt that someone new might generate the much-needed burst of enthusiasm and confidence that they were lacking - a dose of the Emma-factor!!!

  • Topical modules - Involved to add any additional parts of drama, singing or dance that may be needed.
